Hermitage Green - Saturday July 8th at Clonmel Rugby Club
Clonmel Rugby Football Club (RFC) is delighted to host a live music festival at their Cashel Road Stadium from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th of July inclusive. The inaugural event kindly supported by Heineken offers three evenings of live musical entertainment across the weekend with Hermitage Green headlining on Saturday night supported by Oscar Blue.
Set to be a massive weekend for the town of Clonmel and surrounding areas, tickets are now on sale via the Clonmel Rugby Club website www.clonmelrfc.ie and due to strict capacity limits, early booking for each gig is advised.
Hermitage Green has been touring sold-out shows right across the globe, entertaining fans throughout the Middle East, Australia, North America, United Kingdom and Ireland. Selling out iconic music venues and performing for thousands of people at some of the biggest festivals. This five piece band has had the chance to share the stage with incredible artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Paloma Faith, Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club, Tom Odell, Gavin James, Sigrid, The Riptide Movement, The Trews and others. Their latest album “Hi Generation” released in 2021, produced by the legendary Philip Magee.
Onsite food, drinks and merchandise will be readily available each evening. Ample free car parking is also available onsite and adjacent to the grounds, with a shuttle bus running to and from Clonmel town centre also in operation. Patrons are advised to book early, use the shuttles where possible and arrive at the grounds early to really enjoy all that is to offer and help this progressive club to raise as much funds as possible.
Friday night will host Clonmel RFC Male Voice Choir, tickets €20. Saturday evening will see Oscar Blue support Hermitage Green, tickets €35 and Sunday evening features Eagles tribute band D’Eagles and JigJam and tickets are €30. A weekend ticket for entry to Saturday and Sunday is also available online at €55 per person.
