A break weekend from Cup and League rugby so to keep the momentum going we arranged a challenge match with our good friends from Kilfeacle RFC.

The game ebbed abd flowed in the first half with both teams crossing the line from some excellent forward movements being supported by the backs. A tight game with Kilfeacle edging ahead 14-12 at half time. 

Clonmel stayed in the game and put great pressure on the Kilfeackle defense. quick fast passing, moved the ball wide on several occasions and our man of the match Jimmy Higgins did not need to be asked twice excelling in second centre and on the wing to cross over twice.   Kilfeackle would not allow clonmel to have it all the own way and  used their rolling maul on several occasions to keep a tight contest right up to the last 10 minutes. 

On this occasion the lads would not let the slender lead slip and managed to get two scores ahead which proved to be the winning margin in a game which was fought hard and fair by both teams. Many thanks to Kilfeackle for hosting us today and for a great game of rugby.  final score 32-24.
